Tuface Tells Charly Boy To Focus

Charly Boy had called on Nigerian celebrities to join him in the recent protest he masterminded in Abuja. While some joined him, others did not.

Tuface Idibia was among the people that didn’t join him in the protest and Charly Boy called him out on his instagram page shortly after.

Reacting to it, Tuface said he wouldn’t understand why CharlyBoy  would call him out because he (Tuface) didn’t join his protest.

“The only thing I have to say about the protest is that I am not Nigeria’s problem. I don’t understand why Charly Boy is calling me out. He should talk to the people that are Nigeria’s problem. That is all I have to say about that.

The singer further commented on the recent release and acquittal of his former employee, Dammy Krane, who was accused of credit card fraud in the US.

“I always knew that Dammy Krane would be freed but you know that he still had to go to court and clear his name. It was just unfortunate that it happened to him. I would say that he was at the right place at the wrong time. He was going for a show and some people that were travelling with him were of questionable character and it implicated everyone else. It could have happened to anybody.

“A similar occurrence almost happened to me once. I went for a show in Amsterdam or somewhere in Europe, I can’t really recall. The ticket was bought with stolen cards and I did not know. It almost caused problems for me but everyone was aware that I did not buy the ticket myself so they sorted it out. Such an incident could happen to anybody.”

The African Queen hit singer said was also excited to speak about his forthcoming concert tagged, Buckwyld n Breathless: The Lagos Dream; which involves himself and  Tiwa Savage as a headliner.

“People like good music and live performances and my focus is to keep the spirit alive and that is why I’m staging the Buckwyld and Breathless concert. That is the only place that people would get to watch me on a full scale.

This year, we are hosting another edition we tagged The Lagos Dream. And as you know, it is a scripted show; so there is going to be a lot of creativity on stage and artistic performance. It would not be something that you would see at other shows,” he said.
