“I Am Not One For Accolades”- Singer Omawumi

Nigerian singer, Omawunmi Megbele popularly known as Omawunmi said she is not a woman for accolades (Queen, Empress, Mama, music), added that she just tries to be the best at what she do.

The singer-songwriter and actress of Itsekiri ethnicity  was recently featured in the latest edition of Vanguard Allure,shared a stunning photo from her shoot with them and captioned it;

I’m not one for accolades (Queen, Empress, Mama music etc)… I just do ME the best way I know how and love myself unapologetically.

I’m thankful for how far I’ve come, I’m thankful for the fans who love me, I look forward to doing greater things.
